NATO massacre in Zliten, August the 8th/9th 2011.
This Global Research video was produced and directed in Tripoli by a team of committed journalists, researchers and cameramen, who decided to defy the consensus of the Western media which consists in spreading lies and misleading public opinion.
This video reveals the crimes committed by NATO, as well as those committed by the Western media, which has decided to obfuscate the casualties and human suffering of the Libyan people and uphold the humanitarian fiction of NATO's R2P mandate.
War propaganda is defined under international law as a war crime.

Global Research, April 12, 2011
A large number of casualties occurred in the city of Zliten, in the district of Misurata. In Zliten, 85 people were killed including 33 children, 32 women, and 20 men as a result of NATO's deliberate targeting of residential areas and civilian infrastructure. Many of the injured civilian victims are in critical condition and near death.
Zliten has been under constant NATO bombardment for several days. The recent NATO attacks started at about 11:30 p.m. EET on August 8, 2011. At least 7 civilian homes belonging to local farmers were destroyed, killing entire families. In all 20 families were the targets of the NATO bombings.
This video exposes the media's role of covering up the truth. The mainstream media did not report about this properly or accurately. The media did this to whitewash NATO's war crimes against the Libyan people.

Everybody knows what NATO is by now...
Everybody knows what USA is by now...
Everybody knows what USA is by now...
Everybody knows what USA is by now...
Video of random destruction, with ominous shots of children's items, with music and text provided by the makers of this bit of film. You'll have this chaos in any armed struggle. Is a dictators tyranny any better? What of those who refused to play along with Ghadaffi's regime? I'm sure a pretty horriffic montage could be put together of that. Regime mouthpieces like Mahdi Nazemroaya really love that shock value approach to sell you their version of events, never sourced and almost always opinionated. When Hitler was toppled there was alot of collateral damage. What of it?
To me those lives have great value. Such are the hard truths of life. Who is right? Ask a free Libyan or anyone else who has lived under authoritarian rule.
The West has been massacre-ing people in Africa and the Middle East for hundreds of years. It used to be done in the name of "Christianity" (yeah, tell that to the people of Jerusalem during the First Crusades, when EVERY LIVING THING was slaughtered by the "soldiers of Christ.")
Now, it's called "humanitarian intervention," but there is nothing humanitarian about these atrocities. These are WAR CRIMES and it is leaders of THE WEST who should be tried in the International Court and hung.
The Gaddafi spokesman wasn't really clear on why that strike has taken place and it wasn't cleared up by the film's producers. He said it was done "to open the way to Zlitan for the rebels". I can't see why NATO would bomb civilian buildings to "open" the rebels' way to Zlitan. It's just not logical. If there was a gate or any other obstacle, they would target just that, and not a bunch of buildings.
The language you use has nothing to do with journalism.
"Massacre" is a highly emotionally-loaded word and is not appropriate for any material which is supposed to be journalistic .
You also claim that NATO has "deliberately" targeted civilians. While it definitely IS a tactic used by Western forces in other parts of the world (US Army in Iraq), I can't see what purpose what-so-ever it would serve in Libya in this particular case.
As someone mentioned earlier, you don't seem to provide any evidence as to who carried out the strike. How do you know it was NATO and not Gaddafi's forces that destroyed the buildings?
I find it utterly despicable that NATO goes after civillian targets in this way. What do they hope to gain by it? It occurs to me that they must be purely evil from top to bottom, from the leaders, to the pilot who targets women and children. Surely they could have ditched their munitions in the sea. I don't mean that there are no good people or that people will not do the right thing most of the time, but the killing of women and children, as a matter of policy, as a means to intimidate, must be stopped.
I am horrified and saddened. There has been zero media coverage of NATO, Rumsfeld,Obama or Bush atrocities. I am discovering all of this for the first time tonight and all I feel is numb with anger, sorrow and fear because these criminals are still walking about freely. I will pray that God takes over and executes Justice for the world.
this is the reality of war people; wake up. All you idealists are so quick to condemn the wicked and order our men and women to attack. But when a couple people get kill through what we call "indirect fire" you are outraged and want to sue some poor sap who's just doing his job. You should all be ashmed of yourselves, especially you niave thoughts of war. It's not romantic, it's not glorious, and were not helping people. We kill, people die, it's the nature of war. So I challenge all of you to think before you say such stupid things like this article above............think about your very thoughts and actions. you want war, this is what you get, and for you to complain is not only hypocritical but also degrades your morality and integrity.
