2 million people in Tripoli, many of whom are Gaddafi supporters. NATO brings boat loads of rebels knowing full well a bloodbath was the only possible outcome.
Think about it. Gaddafi is gone from Tripoli. The "liberators" allegedly control Tripoli. Why is the conflict not over? Why are civilians dying, being tortured, being forced to lie in front of cameras? This should be a time for celebration if these rebels were true liberators.
Nothing on NATO news about the majority of the population of Tripoli being terrorized by terrorists. They refer to civilians as "Gaddafi loyalists".

The American oligarchy has a fanatical commitment to rule this planet. They are today's empire-makers bringing "democracy", as France and Britain once brought "civilization". What happened to Tripoli could happen to a city near you - if your national government steps out of line.
RIght from the start, Canada should have stayed non aligned, should have landed troops between Benghazi and government troops; should have helped negotiate a truce as proposed many types by the official Lybian government. That would have been our role: keeping law and order according to international regulations. But Ambricourt is right. Step out of line and you're good for an invasion. The Canadian officials and civil servants were too coward to act properly. We're part of the thieves although I am sure most Canadians don't want to pillage Lybia natural resources nor history and quality of life. Some reforms might have been overdue but forget about those now. The new government will be busy spending money on reconstruction (what can be seen and charged for) and busy implementing laws to severely limit freedom of expression. This is as bad as Russian invasions of Eastern Europe states in the 50's and 60's and as bad as US sponsored death squads in Central America. It's on a larger scale and more obvious.

I only want to briefly comment on the structure of the video.
Regardless what one thinks of the situation -- the manner in which the video is put together is terrible. We get shots of 'green' Libyans and then random scenes of chaos (fire, injuries, weapons etc.) One can see then, how this process can easily be reversed portraying rebels as good guys, etc.
This is NOT to say the video fails to reflect the certain change that occurred in Libya, it is to say that it does so poorly and in an ineffective manner.

I don't think this video proves anything....... I just had a conversation with one of my Libyan students and he tells a different story. He says his life under Gaddafi was hell he sought assylum in Egypt because life in Libya was unbearable. Who do we believe? I do not support NATO at all - I know they're atrocious, but I don't believe that Gaddafi was a good. My Libyan students tell me that he has killed many civilians through the decades and that he is totally two faced: on Libyan tv he would slander the western politicians, but then he'd meet with them and shake hands and do deals. I reckon he was a puppet just like Mubarak. Sorry that the Libyan civilians have to suffer because of bullshit politics.

The only "deals" he made were for nuclear disarmament, and now, any non rebel will tell you why that's the only decision Gaddafi regrets. The reason they're after him is cause he didn't do enough "deals". He wanted to make Libya and Africa independent, strong and unified. By refusing the westerners time and again, he really took em to the brink. They decided it was time for action, especially since the whole "Arab Spring" mega hoax was unfolding across the Middle East. They hijacked it for their interests and began their crimes against humanity. Will these people ever pay for their crimes? I doubt. Sad shit. Thank you GR for doing what you do, you are the real heroes, not phony humanitarians like Angelina Jolie etc. Why are they all silent now?
