Perfect Storm of Internet Censorship
by grtv

In recent weeks the governments of Britain, Israel, the US, Japan, India and China have reported alleged cyber attacks by foreign militaries, hackers, and malicious software like Duqu, a virus similar to the Stuxnet cyber weapon constructed by Israel and the US for use against Iran's nuclear program.

Although the nature and origin of the attacks or even whether they took place at all cannot be independently confirmed, the supposed threats are being used to propose punishing new legislation aimed at stifling internet freedoms and are igniting new rivalries in what many see as the battlefield of the 21st century: cyberspace.

Find out more about the coming battle for internet freedom in this week's edition of GRTV Behind the Headlines.

Comcast has been blocked "theRealnews.com.", "BrassCheckTV.com"
"forbiddenknowledgetv.com" and also, "globalResearch.ca" from their subscribers. the comments on "theRealnews.com" will be removed if you posting the web-links or posting off-main-stream piece, that is comcasted will remove the posting after it posted. it happened to me for last 2 years. i filed complaint to Paul Jay CEO of "theRealnews.com", even paul jay can't stop the censorship from Comcast.

Mike Corbeil says:

Very good report.

The only danger for security, national security, and world security is the presence of a criminal oligarchy controlling "western" governments in criminal ways, ...

Censorship can't be benificial for society. It can only be detgrimental.

USAma Bin Laden says:

So-called "cyberterrorism" is the next phase of America's phony War against Terrorism.

America can easily blame a "cyberattack" on XYZ country to justify an American war, or other threats, against said country--just like the Sept. 11th "terrorist" attack, which was staged by the USA against itself in order to attack Afghanistan and spawn the Terror War era we live in today.

That's the real threat involved with this new round of cyber terror-ganda--even more so than internet censorship.

Kudos Talash says:

The censorship in United States of America is the worst because F.B.I. not just censor E-Mails , F.B.I.(USA Detectives) destroy the messages that people ,and organizations send to each other before the people read the messages because F.B.I. =U.S.A. not agree with messages or the people if read the message(s) can get some important informations. It happened with me .

Ser Korz says:

There is some need for regulation, but the problem is the politicos will over do it for thier own political reasons . best leave it alone let the individual regulate at home or business them selves. the police should do their job in tracking any criminal activity and arrest them that do it , in a transparent way.

USAma Bin Laden says:

America is up to its old false-flag terrorism tricks--but with a "cyberterrorism" mask.

US Readies Cyberwar, Virtual Flag Terrorism
http://tarpley.net/2010/03/15/us-readies-cyberwar-virtual-flag-terrorism/

This issue is another reason why it's imperative to expose the entire War on Terrorism and the USA-useful attacks of Sept. 11th as complete frauds.

Once, 9-11 is exposed, then all these other phony "terrorist" attacks (including the cyber flavor) will also be discredited.

This is why the American Empire is so hostile to the 9-11 Truth Movement: the political trail will lead straight back to the United States itself.

@joel: I am a Comcast subscriber and they have never blocked my access to globalresearch.ca or any of the other site you mentioned. Something else must be causing the problems you mentioned.
