Mickey McCarter, Senior Washington Correspondent for Homeland Security Today, fields questions from callers regarding the so-called "underwear bomber". Aired on February 20, 2012 on C-SPAN. As Paul Joseph Watson wrote for Infowars.com: A proponent of the war on terror was left with egg on his face during a recent C-Span appearance when caller after caller hammered home the fact that the underwear bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, was allowed to board Delta flight 253 by the U.S. government. The victim of this ‘truth bomb’ was Mickey McCarter, a prominent mouthpiece for the military-industrial complex that relies heavily on the manufactured ‘war on terror’ to the tune of billions of dollars every year. McCarter is a journalist specializing in “homeland security matters” and has also worked for government agencies like the US Navy’s Bureau of Naval Personnel and the Defense Contract Management Agency. After discussing the recent conviction of the underwear bomber with no mention of the fact that he boarded the plane only with the aid of the U.S. government, McCarter faced a barrage of callers who set him straight. The first caller immediately drew attention to Flight 253 passenger Kurt Haskell, an attorney who witnessed a well dressed Indian man force airport officials to let Abdulmutallab board the plane despite the fact that he had no passport and was on a terror watchlist. “Why would a CIA agent….get that guy on the plane,” the caller asked, to which McCarter responded by claiming, “I am not familiar with the story,” before erroneously claiming that Abdulmutallab “raised no alarm”.

Yes, very interesting call-in interview this was. It was almost entertaining to hear the guest's answers. They didn't seem credibly honest to me, but he has more finesse, say, than what we've generally gotten from politicians in Washington, who usually deny the others are speaking truthfully. Instead, he just kept repeating that he's unaware of this, that and the other aspect of the whole story; and that didn't seem really credible to me. And I didn't appreciate how callers were cut off without them being asked if they had any additional questioning.
So sad and pathetic that our government deceives us on every possible level. And c-span are effing a-holes for cutting off that one caller for just speaking the truth. Our federal goverment IS the enemy.
I think this guy cant say whether or not its true that this underwear bomber was let or helped on the plane because if he did admit that he would probably lose his job.
Rian,
I'll add that maybe he wouldn't live much longer, if he admitted that the underwear bomber was definitely facilitated by Washington. Besides the high risk of losing his job, maybe there'ld also be the risk of losing his life due to some (mysterious) suicide, as has happened with apparently numerous people who had inside knowledge that was very incriminating for Washington. Maybe not in his case, since any inside knowledge he might have would, I guess, probably be indirect, like through word of mouth, say; but it's happened with plenty of people, sudden mysterious suicides that apparently weren't suicides or plain accidents. But he might not be at much risk of being found dead, since it's been reported since pretty much Day #1 that Washington faciliated the travel of the so-called underwear bomber, who evidently didn't know how to explode the device, if it was ever truly explosive at all. Washington loves making use of patsies; many examples of that evidently being true.
Sara says that Washington "IS the enemy".
Glad to see someone else plainly say this. See videos of Mike Prysner, an Iraq and/or Afghanistan war veteran, speak at anti-war talks in the U.S. He distinctly said the same thing; saying that the worst and real enemy of the USA is Washington and, by that, we can understand the rulers of Washington; hidden rulers, that is. ("The Hidden Hand".) Videos of him speaking are at Youtube.
Micheal Chertoff is invested in his own company which sells stuff to Homeland Security. He has a company that has stock in all kinds of devices used for the TSA, and other agencies.
Further it is not true that there is sometimes an overlap as Mr. Mike says, they are in bed together.
Look up the Aspen Conference on National Security get together last year. Military Industrial Complex/CIA and all others rubbing shoulders with Mike Romero of the ACLU and the people wanting to make money off the newest threat to the USSA corporate state, the USA citizen.
Sick.
