FOX Fakes Moscow Protest with Athens Clashes
par grtv

News bulletins around the world have been following Russia's election rallies. But one channel stands out - America's Fox News has been showing streets ablaze, violent clashes and firebombs thrown at security officers, but with one major problem - the images are not from Russia, they're from Greece!

The United States wages unceasing information-war against any country judged insufficiently supportive of its global dominance.

So, Fox News hilariously made a fool of itself.

That's not a bad day, for us. It's frustrating, but the fact that this Fox News balony or error was exposed and is going to be widely known very soon, and we can add the CNN error as well, the better for us. It's embarrassing for these news media, but is laughable for us, as long as we're aware of it.

It wouldn't take long before someone who knows Greek would see the writing above some entrance, as described in the video. I wouldn't know the difference between Greek and Russian, but there're people who do, enough anyway.

Erroneous news media is unacceptable media.

Phil Cicchi says:

The American media lies about everything. Even the so-called alternative media like Pacifica Radio. Political analyses on Pacifica Radio give credence to the American imperium at the same time that they pose as critics. The liberals in the United States have drunk the same cool-aid as the wingers. They have a very slightly different interpretation of events but it is the same cool-aid nevertheless. Bonnie Faulkner is the only programmer on Pacifica who has not drunk the imperial cool-aid. One of the few news service websites to get truthful analyses of world events, too, is here at GlobalResearch. So thank you Mr. Chossudovsky.

I agree with Phil Cicchi in his assessment of all media in the US, and would add that our so-called "alternative" media in general must play the money game, raising revenue from whoever will pay. Of course, the "big players" in our economy include not just the corporate moneybags, but also their more liberal shills among the foundations that fund Pacifica and the new kids on the block (Current TV, MSNBC liberal wing, etc.) They all are Domocratic Party apologists, who are Republican Party apologists, who are Koch/Scaife apologists, etc. etc.
